V.R.P.

Poor little blog...I know I occasionally neglect you. After the Facebook page is updated, the Ravelry Loopalicious forum is moderated, the bi-monthly Loops Scoop is composed, the two yarn stores and ad biz are tended to, dinner is cooked and the homework is done, there just isn't enough energy left over for you.

But today is a new day. It's V.R.P. day for you, blog! Very Random Photos. A whole onslaught of them! When you let photos build up in your iPhone too long, this is the glorious result.

First, a Marc Jacobs sweater from the new Saks catalog. "An inside-out Fair Isle pattern allows you to see how the stitch was created!" And "only" $1500! Really. Really?

In stark contrast (and for considerably less cash), we have this Taiyo sweater (design #8 from Noro's Runway Knits) made and modeled by the lovely Elizabeth.

And here is our own lovely Dawn, modeling a sweater she made called "Parasola" from Berroco Nora Gaughan Volume 6, in Cascade Ultra Pima. I just love when Dawn lets that gorgeous hair down...

The Treads I made from Broken Arrow Alpacas yarn (oh so soft!):

And the alpaca that the yarn came from, being fed by Mallory in the Loops South parking lot.

Have you spotted the Loopsmobile around Tulsa yet?

Ali did, and got a free t-shirt, donut and coupon! (Love the February Lady sweater, Ali!).

Rosie just finished up this adorable top-down sweater and hat in Spud & Chloe Sweater.

And Gene, Harriet and Loretta all finished up their Three Irish Girls Rainbow Mini-Skein Set projects! Gene made the Baby Albert Jacket from Sally Melville's Knit Stitch book. Harriet made an oversized cowl, and Loretta did a linen stitch scarf. All stunning!

Remember when Sandy was a neurotic rescue dog? She has officially transitioned into lazy house dog:

Beautiful new Fino alpaca-silk lace from Alpaca with a Twist. What can I do with this sunny yellow? Love!

One of Dana's weaving students with a beaded belt made on a Cricket loom. Did you assume the weaver is the wife? Wrong! It's the husband! Awesome.

Love this sweater Linda just started from Stefanie Japel's book "Fitted Knits," using Classic Elite Sprout. May have to cast this one on...

And my very favorite Very Random Photo. My Mom dug out this old shot to prove that, like me, she used to fall asleep when knitting accompanied by her dog. Priceless!

Love the Loopsmobile - it is so cute! Thanks for the t-shirt, the donut and the coupon - what a fun morning. I'm looking forward to advancing my knitting skills so I can create some of those beautiful projects.
